Within the framework of the project “NO TO VIOLENCE IN THE FAMILY AND SOCIETY”, Yulia from Tripoli (Lebanon) shared her understanding of what position each person should take on violence he witnesses.
On the basis of personal life experience, Yulia realized that the position of non-intervention is equal to the position of indifference. If people are silent, then they agree with what is happening. Thus, only aggression and cowardice are multiplied in society.
Yulia also noted that it is very important for each of us to remember what it means to be a real Human. After all, there are so many kind, brave and sincere people on Earth who are able to stand up and lend a helping hand to the one who needs it at the moment.
