The biggest problem for all humankind is global and rapid climatic changes on the planet, due to the fact that we, as humanity, are unprepared for the harsh climatic reality (we are not even ready to perceive it psychologically, not to mention to develop survival skills or actions during emergency evacuation). Our consciousness rejects that reality which has come as of today. We want to live in the old way in our habitual, comfortable consumerist world. However, extreme events occur in the world every day, and no one can predict where in what place they will begin and what scale of destruction and human casualties they will bring. Therefore, we should be prepared for everything. One thing should be remembered: that life is worth fighting for.

Fight for Survival

Today, very serious changes are taking place with the climate, and we are not ready for that. We are not ready to admit as parents that our child has no future. We can influence simple things: a child's education, how he is dressed, what he eats, and we do this. However, at least so far, we can also influence whether he will have a future or not. And that's when all our responsibility as parents disappears. We cease to be fathers and mothers, and we become just indifferent people because we reject and do not want to admit that climatic changes already pose a real threat.

A good parent is the one who really cares about the future of their child. Not in the sense of who the child will grow up to be, but in the sense that he will have such an opportunity. If we were truly caring parents, we would not be afraid and would take on this responsibility. And we would do everything to save the life of our child.

How could it happen that we, society as a whole, have come to the point when every person individually seems to be very caring, good and positive, while in general, as a society, we are indifferent to others and turn away from this reality?

Adrian Bejan received the 2018 Benjamin Franklin Medal for his contributions to "Thermodynamics and constructal theory, which predicts natural design and its evolution in engineering, scientific, and social systems." He was awarded 18 honorary doctorate awards from universities in 11 different countries, besides, he wrote 30 books and peer-reviewed 650 journals. 

Dr. Bejan received his degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)  (B.S.1971, M.S.1972, Ph.D.1975). He is the designer of the constructal law. 
During today's interview Dr. Bejan will explain the constructal in simple terms and why his discovery was meaningful to the scientific community.

CLIMATE. THE FUTURE IS NOW

Sooner or later every modern sensible person realizes that it is necessary, first of all, to find inner balance in oneself and peace of mind. Only within oneself a person can understand and realize the purpose for which he or she was born in this world. Indeed, without the spiritual feeling (deep in heart), one can understand nothing- therefore the Spirit controls the mind. That feeling, when you are one with God, means that you are already a spirit, even if you are in the body yet. Because a person is made of flesh, and God is Spirit, here and now. And this is a deep feeling. Of course, we cannot see God with our eyes. Therefore, those who want to talk to God must be in spirit. Modern people perfectly understand what exactly unites us all. And that our true nature is in freedom, sincerity, love. And all sufferings are just manifestations of the mind. That is why it is so important to learn how to control anxious thoughts, starting, first of all, of course with yourself.

“I don’t think that we need middlemen to communicate with God. If the Holy Spirit is in us, we need no one else. People communicate with each other through the Holy Spirit. And if there is a feeling of the Holy Spirit, then there is a feeling of God. No matter where we are, in our room, in various conversations, in any other activities, we can communicate with God personally. And God hears us. Here, however, there is another important point - we must also hear Him in response. We must hear the Holy Spirit. And we should have the allotted time, personal time only for God.
