By studying the works of philosophers, religious thinkers, and scientists from different countries of the world and from different centuries, you gradually begin to understand that many people have come to the true essence of choice. Animals remain the same as when they come out of their mother’s womb, and it turns out that only a human being is able either to belittle oneself to an animal or to elevate oneself to the angelic state.
Contradiction of the finite and the infinite, life – in history or in eternity? What is actually your choice? Our life seems to be tied to the society, however, a human always determines one’s behaviour on his own, which is based on the human’s personal choice. The choice is mine, but, living in the society, my choice extends in the lives of other people.
Etymology and various dictionaries, the meaning of the word choice in ancient languages (Proto-Indo-European, Sanskrit, Avestan, and many other) reveal the essence and the depth of the word choice. A human is the only living creature that faces a choice. Every animal has a certain program which it implements, and only for a human the choice is extremely important. And the choice is precisely what distinguishes a human from an animal. After all, everyone feels that there is something good and there is something bad. Kindness, unity, and beauty – they are same for everyone. A human is a Spirit, a Personality…
