Global Crisis. The Responsibility | International Online Forum. December 2, 2023

Today, very serious changes are taking place with the climate, and we are not ready for that. We are not ready to admit as parents that our child has no future. We can influence simple things: a child's education, how he is dressed, what he eats, and we do this. However, at least so far, we can also influence whether he will have a future or not. And that's when all our responsibility as parents disappears. We cease to be fathers and mothers, and we become just indifferent people because we reject and do not want to admit that climatic changes already pose a real threat.

A good parent is the one who really cares about the future of their child. Not in the sense of who the child will grow up to be, but in the sense that he will have such an opportunity. If we were truly caring parents, we would not be afraid and would take on this responsibility. And we would do everything to save the life of our child.

How could it happen that we, society as a whole, have come to the point when every person individually seems to be very caring, good and positive, while in general, as a society, we are indifferent to others and turn away from this reality?

February the 10th, on the platform of ALLATRA International Public movement a unique cross-cultural conference took place as part of THE UNIVERSAL GRAIN fundamental research project. The topic of the conference was “Media today. International journalism of a new format”.People from many nations came together for this event including people from USA, Ukraine, Russian Federation, Italy, Pakistan, India, Czech Republic, Canada, Belarus, Slovakia, Nigeria, Bangladesh, and more. Journalists, scientists, researchers and social activists from around the world gathered to discuss unifying values within all cultures.

ALLATRA INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC MOVEMENT is an association of pro-active, honest and good-hearted people from across the globe who strive to use their best qualities for the benefit of society. Millions of people all around the world take active part in creating large-scale video conferences on spiritual and moral topics.

Recently, an interdisciplinary scientific practical conference on the topic of global climate change on Earth with participation of scientists from different countries of the world, eyewitnesses, and just people who care, was held within the context of spiritual and moral subject matter. During the discussion, global questions were raised about whether climatic changes today are unprecedented or if this is just a continuation of what happened thousands of years ago; whether powerful eruptions have an impact on climate or is this phenomenon the opposite of global warming; whether we need new sources of energy? The participants also focused on the point that a change in each person is no longer just a desire, but an objective necessity.

In the programmes with participation of Igor Mikhailovich Danilov, special emphasis was made on today’s climate situation, and thanks to that, we know that there is a way out. This inspires people all over the world to take actions! An interdisciplinary scientific and practical online conference dedicated to the subject of climate change and global cataclysms is among the many international events, organized on the ALLATRA platform.
