Climate is changing and it’s our nowadays reality. We experience more temperature anomalies and last year was the hottest in 125,000 years. 2024 breaks the records of the previous year. The ocean is warming at an enormous speed. Climate disasters have increased all over the world.

What can each person do to improve the situation? I already paid my carbon emissions taxes but what else can I do to help other people and contribute to saving lives?

Ways to Resolve Climate Crisis. Presentation of Creative Society Organized With IAYSP Austria

The past week has shown how serious the problem of heavy rainfalls has become. Countries on different continents simultaneously suffered from abnormal floods.

➡️ Strong Storms in Europe
On May 2, several countries in Europe were hit by storms with thunderstorms and heavy rains.
In Germany, storms caused significant damage to some parts of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. After a strong thunderstorm, the Klingbach River overflowed, flooding several settlements.
The Netherlands also suffered from the storms that day. Strong thunderstorms with downpours passed over the province of Limburg. The cities of Venlo and Heerlen were particularly affected. 

➡️ Record Flooding in China
On May 4, heavy rains poured down on several cities in Guangdong province in southern China, including Zhongshan and Zhuhai. The province issued 58 flood warnings, five of which were red, indicating the most serious level of warning.

➡️ Catastrophic Floods in Kenya
Since March, rains have not stopped in Kenya, causing massive floods and landslides. Floods and landslides have claimed 228 lives, with 164 people missing. Unfortunately, there are no signs of the crisis easing, as meteorologists predict such weather will continue into May. 

➡️ Destructive Tornado in the USA
On the evening of May 6, another round of deadly severe weather hit the central part of the USA. The NWS issued over 300 life-threatening weather warnings: lightning, severe hail, and destructive wind gusts. Over 60 tornado warnings were also issued. One of them, the Tornado Emergency Alert, the most severe of all warnings, was issued for Osage County, Oklahoma.

➡️ Unprecedented Flooding in Brazil
The southernmost state of Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul, is experiencing a natural disaster. Anomalous rains and severe floods have already affected 401 out of 497 municipalities. The state government has declared a state of emergency. At least 95 people have fallen victim to the climate tragedy, and over 130 are still missing. The number of flood victims is approaching 1.5 million people, with more than 200,000 left homeless. 

❗ The extreme rise in temperatures and the evaporation of huge volumes of water lead to increased storm activity. As a result, there is an increase in the number of thunderstorms, precipitation, and strong winds. This poses a serious danger and leads to even greater destruction, losses, and loss of human lives.

Ash and toxic clouds of the Cumbre Vieja volcano from the Canary island of La Palma have already crossed the Atlantic, reaching Cuba and Puerto Rico. Eruptions are accompanied by increased seismic activity. The release of "burning balls" began, fragments of spherical rocks, which were formed due to extremely high temperature. 

The number of destroyed houses is already more than a thousand. At the same time, Canary Television decided not to show footage of destroyed houses on its airwaves anymore.

During the day from the 6th to the 7th of October, the planet was shaken by a cascade of earthquakes.
Among them in Croatia with a magnitude of 4.9, in Japan - 5.9, as well as a devastating earthquake in Pakistan. According to the USGS, its magnitude was also 5.9.
Dozens of people died and more than 300 were injured.

A strong deep-focus earthquake M 7.3 was recorded by the U.S. Geological Survey on October 2 in the Vanuatu region of Fiji. The focus was at a depth of more than 500 km. The epicenter was about 400 km southwest of the city of Nadi, Fiji. 

A stratovolcano called Vulcano has become active on the Lipari Islands in Italy. On October 1, the country's Department of Civil Protection raised the volcano warning level to yellow.

On September 29 in Indonesia, heavy rains with hurricane winds fell across the province of West Sumatra. Unfortunately, there are dead and casualties.
On the same day, heavy rains caused flash floods in the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana.
And in the north of Germany, in the city of Kiel, there was a devastating tornado. There are victims.

On September 30, in the city Shimla, India, Himachal Pradesh, an eight-story building collapsed due to a landslide caused by heavy rains. Fortunately, people were not injured.

And in Australia, in the state of New South Wales, a tornado swept by with a destructive power not typical for this region. Several people were injured. 

On October 1, the city of Dalian in northeastern China experienced an anomalous hail. Hailstones the size of a chicken egg easily pierced shop windows and car windows. The next day, a devastating tornado struck Yantai Urban District in Shandong Province. It was caused by the same supercell that caused the anomalous hail in Dalian. 

On October 3, tropical storm Shaheen hit the capital of Oman, Muscat. Unfortunately, there are dead and missing. 
On the same day, the coast of Cystan province and Balochistan in Iran was also affected by storm Shaheen. There are dead people. 

On October 4, heavy rains caused large-scale floods and landslides in northern Italy. The first floors of buildings were flooded, streets were washed out, bridges were destroyed. In the regions of Liguria, Piedmont and Lombardy, a red level of weather danger was declared. 

On the same day, heavy rains led to large-scale floods in the south of France. The city of Marseille was hit hardest by the storm. In the department of Bouches-du-Rhône, a red level of danger was also declared. 

And in the Russian city of Sochi, in the Georgian city of Batumi and nearby settlements, a powerful downpour caused floods. 

On October 5, heavy rains led to flooding in some parts of the capital of Great Britain, London. In the city, the work of roads and railways, underground and land transport was disrupted. 

The increase and synchronization of natural disasters is not a random process, but a consequence of the cyclical astronomical impact on our planet, which humanity cannot influence at the current stage of development. But inaction also leads to the loss of time, which is crucial now for consolidation of the efforts of all people on the planet in order to go through this difficult period. 

Society is each of us. We all and our actions create the conditions we live in. And each person can do a lot to make the whole world know the truth about the real state of our planet.

He reveals how the consumer format of society has caused the problem of overproduction and negatively affected every stage of food production and distribution. The law of supply and demand reminds us that we, as consumers of certain goods, influence the way those goods will be produced, sold, and advertised. On the one hand, it means that the problem is not somewhere out there, but that we, as consumers, have also contributed to it by our choices. But precisely this realization also shows us the way out, because if it all starts with us and our demands, then if we, people, will change our preferences to creative ones, will realize our responsibility and make different choices, will act our of principles of morality and care for each other and the environment, then the whole market will adapt and will do so quickly.
