Climate is changing and it’s our nowadays reality. We experience more temperature anomalies and last year was the hottest in 125,000 years. 2024 breaks the records of the previous year. The ocean is warming at an enormous speed. Climate disasters have increased all over the world.

What can each person do to improve the situation? I already paid my carbon emissions taxes but what else can I do to help other people and contribute to saving lives?

Ways to Resolve Climate Crisis. Presentation of Creative Society Organized With IAYSP Austria

The past week has shown how serious the problem of heavy rainfalls has become. Countries on different continents simultaneously suffered from abnormal floods.

➡️ Strong Storms in Europe
On May 2, several countries in Europe were hit by storms with thunderstorms and heavy rains.
In Germany, storms caused significant damage to some parts of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. After a strong thunderstorm, the Klingbach River overflowed, flooding several settlements.
The Netherlands also suffered from the storms that day. Strong thunderstorms with downpours passed over the province of Limburg. The cities of Venlo and Heerlen were particularly affected. 

➡️ Record Flooding in China
On May 4, heavy rains poured down on several cities in Guangdong province in southern China, including Zhongshan and Zhuhai. The province issued 58 flood warnings, five of which were red, indicating the most serious level of warning.

➡️ Catastrophic Floods in Kenya
Since March, rains have not stopped in Kenya, causing massive floods and landslides. Floods and landslides have claimed 228 lives, with 164 people missing. Unfortunately, there are no signs of the crisis easing, as meteorologists predict such weather will continue into May. 

➡️ Destructive Tornado in the USA
On the evening of May 6, another round of deadly severe weather hit the central part of the USA. The NWS issued over 300 life-threatening weather warnings: lightning, severe hail, and destructive wind gusts. Over 60 tornado warnings were also issued. One of them, the Tornado Emergency Alert, the most severe of all warnings, was issued for Osage County, Oklahoma.

➡️ Unprecedented Flooding in Brazil
The southernmost state of Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul, is experiencing a natural disaster. Anomalous rains and severe floods have already affected 401 out of 497 municipalities. The state government has declared a state of emergency. At least 95 people have fallen victim to the climate tragedy, and over 130 are still missing. The number of flood victims is approaching 1.5 million people, with more than 200,000 left homeless. 

❗ The extreme rise in temperatures and the evaporation of huge volumes of water lead to increased storm activity. As a result, there is an increase in the number of thunderstorms, precipitation, and strong winds. This poses a serious danger and leads to even greater destruction, losses, and loss of human lives.

On May 11th, 2019, a unique event of global importance – the international video conference “SOCIETY. THE LAST CHANCE” took place on the platform of ALLATRA International Public Movement. This grand event was started in Atlanta, Georgia (USA).

“SOCIETY. THE LAST CHANCE” is the first global conference in human history, which united people from many countries of the world in live communication. People gathered in numerous conference halls in different parts of the planet and simultaneously contacted each other via the Internet in order to openly and honestly discuss important and really urgent issues of the society. 

Participating countries have included: the USA, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Spain, Slovakia, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Germany, Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom, Moldova, Italy, Latvia, Canada, New Zealand, and others. For the first time in the world, people, regardless of their nationality, religion, profession, and social status, united and straightforwardly voiced the truth, the main question that concerns the entire civilization: “How can we, humanity, change the vector of development of society from consumer to creative one?”

The attendees (public figures, consuls, representatives of diverse organizations, distinguished persons, various invitees) voiced their consent and real willingness to support and to participate in joint dissemination of this information and in preparation for the worldwide large-scale event of a new format “SOCIETY. THE LAST CHANCE. 2020”.

Every speaker expressed an opinion of thousands of people, and every attendee was a representative of various communities. “This is indeed what has been painful for everyone! We are happy that the real truth has finally been voiced, without mass media's wordplay and without political embellishments. This shows that we, people, are strong in uniting, and goodness is still alive in various countries!” the attendees noted.

Questions included the following:

How has the consumer format of society become a deadlock for development of our civilisation? What should be done so that all of us together would switch to the creative society format, without any harm for countries and nations, without any harm for everyone?

Why in the 21st century do we have such global problems as wars, international conflicts, racial and religious discrimination, if the majority of people from various countries of the world want one and the same thing – peace and happy life?

People clearly note that wars are arranged in order to earn millions on them, but can’t we actually earn on something else, and not on death? On May 11th, 2019, a unique event of global importance – the international video conference “SOCIETY. THE LAST CHANCE” took place on the platform of ALLATRA International Public Movement. This grand event was started in Atlanta, Georgia (USA). 
 
“SOCIETY. THE LAST CHANCE” is the first global conference in human history, which united people from many countries of the world in live communication. People gathered in numerous conference halls in different parts of the planet and simultaneously contacted each other via the Internet in order to openly and honestly discuss important and really urgent issues of the society. 
 
Participating countries have included: the USA, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Spain, Slovakia, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Germany, Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom, Moldova, Italy, Latvia, Canada, New Zealand, and others. For the first time in the world, people, regardless of their nationality, religion, profession, and social status, united and straightforwardly voiced the truth, the main question that concerns the entire civilization: “How can we, humanity, change the vector of development of society from consumer to creative one?” 
 
The attendees (public figures, consuls, representatives of diverse organizations, distinguished persons, various invitees) voiced their consent and real willingness to support and to participate in joint dissemination of this information and in preparation for the worldwide large-scale event of a new format “SOCIETY. THE LAST CHANCE. 2020”. 
 
Every speaker expressed an opinion of thousands of people, and every attendee was a representative of various communities. “This is indeed what has been painful for everyone! We are happy that the real truth has finally been voiced, without mass media's wordplay and without political embellishments. This shows that we, people, are strong in uniting, and goodness is still alive in various countries!” the attendees noted. 
 
Questions included the following: 
 
How has the consumer format of society become a deadlock for development of our civilisation? What should be done so that all of us together would switch to the creative society format, without any harm for countries and nations, without any harm for everyone? 
 
Why in the 21st century do we have such global problems as wars, international conflicts, racial and religious discrimination, if the majority of people from various countries of the world want one and the same thing – peace and happy life? 
 
People clearly note that wars are arranged in order to earn millions on them, but can’t we actually earn on something else, and not on death?
