Mankind can continue to deny the obvious for a long time: climate change is on the rise. But the number of deaths and casualties continues to increase every day.
On March 16, 2022, a strong earthquake of magnitude 7.4 occurred off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Sadly, people were killed and about 200 people were injured. The tremors lasted about a minute. Buildings, roads, and bridges were damaged and transportation and electricity supplies were temporarily suspended.

Eyewitnesses and reporters of Breaking News will talk about this and other climate disasters in this broadcast.

Tropical Cyclone Gombe passed through northern Mozambique and southern Malawi from March 11-13, 2022. Sadly, there were fatalities and injuries. The cyclone brought heavy rains, flash floods and winds up to 190 kilometers per hour.
In Mozambique, more than 3,000 homes were flooded or destroyed, leaving more than 30,000 people homeless and without means of livelihood.
On the same day, a deadly landslide hit the city of Ampang, Malaysia. Sadly, there are fatalities and injuries.

On March 12, 2022, a devastating tornado struck the city of Ocala, Florida, USA. The wind speed reached over 170 km/hour. A state of emergency was declared in some counties.

On March 12-13, 2022, heavy rains occurred in the south of France, causing severe flooding. An orange danger level was introduced.
In the Orb River, the water level in the river rose from 4 to 12 meters in a short period of time.
At the same time, much of northern and central Greece was affected by Cyclone Filippos - it brought abnormal frost and snowfall to the country. Because of the bad weather, schools were closed and traffic was suspended.

On March 14, 2022, a powerful earthquake of 6.7 magnitude struck near Pariaman, Sumatra, Indonesia.

On March 14, a major storm raged in northern Texas, USA. Gusty winds, heavy rain and large hail damaged homes, trees and cars and covered the ground with a dense layer of ice.
A tornado swept through Fennin County during the storm.

On March 14 and 15, 2022, a dust storm hit southern Europe. Storm Celia brought sand from the Sahara Desert across the Mediterranean Sea to Spain and France.
In the Spanish cities of Almeria and Murcia, roads, buildings, and cars were covered with a thick layer of dust and debris. The effects were felt in Paris, Munich, Madrid, Lyon and parts of Austria.
Storm Celia brought heavy rains and snow to some areas of the Canary Islands. Several people drowned because of the strong waves.

In Israel, March 2022 was one of the coldest months in the last 112 years. Temperatures dropped to -6 ०C.
On March 15, it snowed throughout Israel in the cities of Safed, Jerusalem, Nof ha-Galil and others.

On March 15, more than 140 millimeters of rain fell in the state of New South Wales, Australia, triggering another flood in the state. Sadly, there was a fatality.
About 2,000 lightning strikes were recorded in the vicinity of the city.

On March 16, heavy rains caused flooding in the city of Bukavu, Republic of Congo. Unfortunately, there were fatalities.

One of the main paradoxes of climate change is the sharp contrast of weather conditions when flooding in one region sharply alternates with drought and vice versa.
Because of climate change, more and more territories on the planet become uninhabitable for people. And what will happen next, given the increase in climatic cataclysms?
Given these developments and the continued consumerist format, will we be able to survive as a human community?
