❗ Anomalous Floods in the Russian Federation
The spring floods of 2024 in Russia turned into a real disaster. Record warm temperatures at the beginning of spring led to rapid snowmelt simultaneously in many parts of the country. As a result, the water level in rivers began to rise rapidly, leading to extensive flooding.

❗ Atypical M4.8 Earthquake in New Jersey
On April 5 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, at 10:23 a.m. Eastern Time, a magnitude 4.8 earthquake was recorded. According to the US Geological Survey, the tremor occurred at a depth of 2.9 miles. Since the seismic event, there have been 50 aftershocks.

❗ Severe Storm in South Africa

At the beginning of the week, Storm "Pierrik" hit some parts of the United Kingdom and France.
In French Normandy, it brought winds of nearly 75 miles per hour and high waves.
In the Brittany region on April 9, huge waves caused by the storm breached a dam in the coastal city of Saint-Malo, flooding the streets. On the same day, during a powerful tide in the English Channel, two fishermen drowned.

🔥 Irreversible changes on the planet are becoming evident: severe weather anomalies are causing colossal destruction and loss of life.

We present to you an overview of climate events that occurred on the planet from March 10th to March 16th, 2024.

📍 UAE. Anomalous Precipitation and Flooding
In the UAE, an "orange" level of danger was declared on March 9th and 10th due to powerful downpours. In Dubai, nearly 50 millimeters of rain fell in just six hours — almost half of the annual rainfall norm in this desert region.
In some areas of Dubai, cars were halfway submerged, the ground floors of buildings were flooded, and trees were toppled. The abnormal rains caused disruptions to the schedules of international flights in one of the world's busiest airports.

At least 30 people have been reported dead. More than 37,000 houses have been flooded, and over 76,000 people have been evacuated.

On Tuesday, March 12th, a powerful storm suddenly hit the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires, and its suburbs, bringing torrential rain, thunderstorms, and hail. In less than three hours, the amount of rainfall reached a historical monthly average for March.

📍 Russia. Strongest Cyclone in Kamchatka
On March 14th, the strongest cyclone of the year hit the southern regions of Kamchatka, Russia. Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky was at the epicenter of the cyclone. Storm warnings were issued in the waters of the Bering Sea and the Pacific Ocean.

➡️ Mexico. Anomalous Hailstorm
On the day of March 15, residents of Coahuila state, Mexico, faced a powerful storm accompanied by hail the size of a tennis ball or even a baseball (with a diameter of up to 10 centimeters). In the municipality of Sabinas, an 8-year-old girl named Victoria Tabares suffered a skull fracture when she was hit by a large hail on the head. She was urgently taken to the clinic in critical condition. Dozens of people sustained lighter injuries from the hail.

➡️ Iceland. Volcanic Eruption on the Reykjanes Peninsula
On March 16, approximately 30 miles from the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik, a volcanic eruption began on the Reykjanes Peninsula. The fissure from which the lava flowed was about 3.5 kilometers long and was located near the town of Grindavik, in the same area as the previous eruption on February 8. Lava flows damaged two highways and came close to other important infrastructure objects. The eruption was preceded by 80 earthquakes.

Destructive forest fires engulfed the provinces of Sichuan and Yunnan in southern China. On March 15, around 5:00 p.m. in the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province, a forest fire broke out, and due to a sudden strong wind the next day, the fire quickly spread northeast, forming three fire centers. Approximately 4900 local residents were evacuated from the Yazian County. As a result of the fire, about 30 houses were completely burned down in several villages. The area of the fires in the Yazian County alone exceeded 24,700 acres.

At least two people died and 11 were injured as a result of flooding caused by heavy rains in Iraq, which began on March 18. The most affected areas were the mountainous Kurdistan region in northern Iraq, where on Tuesday, March 19, a stream of rainwater flooded the streets, catching residents by surprise. The powerful flow knocked down trees and swept away cars. In Dahuk province, floodwaters carried away a car with four passengers inside. Two of them were rescued, while the other two were swept away by the current. Preliminary estimates suggest that the rains damaged about 100 houses and submerged about 15 cars.

Tropical Cyclone "Megan" formed on the evening of March 15 local time in the Gulf of Carpentaria, Australia. The residents of Groote Eylandt Island were the first to be affected by it. Within 48 hours, 680.4 mm of rainfall fell, which is more than half of the average annual amount. Wind gusts reached 110 km/h. Photos and videos shared by residents of Groote Eylandt depict the scale of the destruction: uprooted trees, flooded yards, and roads. On Monday, March 18, the cyclone hit the coast of Australia, bringing with it powerful wind gusts of up to 170 km/h and heavy rainfall. The Northern Territory of the country bore the brunt of the cyclone.

🔥 Climate Events Digest for the Week: Fires in the USA, flooding and storms in Italy, heavy rains in Brazil, severe blizzard in California, and heavy rains and hail in Oman.

According to NV Energy, the state's largest utility provider, as of March 2nd, more than 25,000 customers remained without electricity. 📍Texas, USA. Catastrophic wildfires in Texas have claimed the lives of at least two people, destroyed homes, livestock, and caused significant financial damage to the state's residents.
The Smokehouse Creek fire has become the largest wildfire in the state's history, already engulfing over 1 million acres of land in Texas alone.
Strong winds and drought conditions have contributed to the rapid spread of the fire, consuming an area equivalent to two football fields per second. Firefighting efforts face a daunting challenge, with at least 5 firefighters injured. Rainfall towards the end of the week helped contain the fire to 15%, but critical weather conditions returned within a few days, fueling a new surge in flames.

📍Italy. Since February 26th, northern Italy has experienced heavy rains, snowfall, and strong winds, resulting in floods, landslides, and snow avalanches. This has led to human casualties and significant material damage. Some regions received more than three months' worth of precipitation in just two days. The Veneto region suffered the most from flooding, prompting the issuance of a red alert. A viral video featuring a "waterproof" window highlighted the high water levels in the region.
Landslides and villages affected by the events were documented in Montemurlo (Prato) and the Ligurian region. Lake Garda's water level exceeded the maximum recorded in the past 27 years. In the municipality of Rasines in the province of Bolzano, a snow avalanche occurred, resulting in one fatality and two injuries.

📍Brazil. Heavy rains in the Brazilian state of Acre have led to widespread flooding, submerging hundreds of homes and inundating roads. In the capital, Rio Branco, the water level in the Acre River rose nearly 19,6 feet in just one day, reaching 55,77 feet. Over 100,000 people have been affected by the flooding, with 24,000 forced to evacuate their homes, and four fatalities reported. A state of emergency has been declared in 19 out of 22 municipalities. 

📍California. A powerful snowstorm has hit California and the West Coast, bringing heavy snowfall, strong winds with gusts up to 190 miles per hour, and even a rare tornado for these regions.
According to reports from the National Weather Service, over the course of 72 hours, some areas in the Sierra Nevada received more than 7 feet of snow. Due to the massive accumulation of snow, some vehicles were stranded on the roads on March 1st, and drivers required urgent assistance

📍Pakistan. In late February and early March, Pakistan experienced heavy rains and snowfall, leading to widespread landslides and destruction in the northern and western regions. According to official figures, 37 people died, and 50 were injured. A state of emergency was declared in Rawalpindi, Punjab province, as the city received more than a third of the monthly precipitation norm, totaling 0,98 inches.

📍Turkey. On the evening of March 5th in Antalya, Turkey, a storm occurred, during which two water spouts formed. Coming ashore, they caused damage to the areas of Demre, Kumluca, Finike, and Manavgat. Approximately 741.32 acres of greenhouses belonging to 102 farmers were damaged, along with 20 vehicles and 15 buildings. The tornado also damaged solar panels. During the storm, heavy rain flooded the streets and underground passages in Antalya. In the Kepex and Konyaalti areas, many vehicles got stuck due to flooding. In the Chaykoj village of the Kas district, a forest fire broke out after a lightning strike, which was successfully extinguished by rescue brigades. Six people were injured as a result of the storm and tornado.

Unusually strong dust storms hit the planet in late March 2024. A giant dust cloud from the Sahara Desert passed over North Africa, affecting Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco. Moving further, it reached the Iberian Peninsula, spreading inland and significantly polluting the air in European countries. Residents of Spain, Portugal, Italy, Malta, Greece, Romania, and others were affected by the Saharan dust.

Since March 29, something unprecedented has been happening in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: incessant heavy rains with thunderstorms and hail are disturbing residents across various regions of the country. Weekly Report on Natural Disasters #5. Earthquake in Taiwan, Flood in Saudi Arabia, Storms in the US

On October 20, 2021, the Aso volcano, one of the largest volcanoes in the world, began to erupt on Kyushu Island, Japan. The Japan Meteorological Agency declared the third level of danger. Pillar of smoke and ash from the crater of the volcano rose to the height of 3.5 km, volcanic rocks were thrown out to the distance of 1 km.
At the same time, volcanic emissions of sulfur dioxide from Cumbre Vieja volcano, island La Palma, Canary Islands, moving by air streams covered the territory of Europe and reached the Urals.

An eyewitness of Hurricane Grace in Mexico told what difficulties they had to face during and after the disaster, and shared her experiences.

On October 15, 2021, a devastating earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred on the island of Bali in Indonesia. The hypocenter of seismic activity was located at a depth of about 10 kilometers. An earthquake has affected the eastern part of the island, affecting residents of the Bangli and Karangasem districts. There are fatalities.
The element provoked landslides, houses were destroyed and three villages were isolated.

On October 16 and 17 there were two more earthquakes near the town of Glogov, Poland, with magnitudes of 4.3 and 4.2. Both occurred at a depth of about 10 kilometers. 

On October 19, another strong earthquake occurred in the Mediterranean Sea near the island of Karpathos, Greece, at a depth of more than 40 km. The magnitude of underground shocks according to different data was from 5.9 to 6.3. The vibrations reached Israel and Egypt. 

On October 15, 2021, a severe storm struck the state of New South Wales in Australia. Large hail, gale force winds with torrential rain and tornadoes hit the state capital, Sydney, and nearby cities. Were destroyed buildings, overturned cars and damaged power lines. 

On October 19, already in the north of Australia, in the state of Queensland, again were strong storms which have brought rain and huge hail - some hailstones reached 16 centimeters and fell at a speed of over 100 km/h. Huge blocks of ice damaged cars, roofs and building facades. This may be a new record for the size of hail in Australia.

In the first 14 days of October 2021, Oklahoma, USA, was hit by 26 tornadoes out of 51 for all of 2021. Buildings were damaged, power lines were damaged - more than 11,000 families in the state were left without power. Fortunately, no one was injured.

On the night of October 14, 2021, the western part of Hungary was covered with wet snow, in some places up to 30 centimeters high. A cold front came and caused temperatures to drop below zero.
 
On the same day, Greece found itself under a powerful blow of the elements - due to heavy storms and heavy rains caused by storm "Ballos", flooding began in the country. 
In Athens, streets turned into violent rivers. The first floors of houses went underwater, the work of public transport and railway services stopped. In the Athenian suburb of Nea Philadelphia, students had to build a bridge out of their desks to get out of the flooded school.

On October 16, prolonged rainstorms in the southern Indian state of Kerala caused landslides and widespread flooding. Sadly, dozens of people lost their lives. There are missing persons. A red danger level was declared in 5 districts.
On October 17, residents of the state of Telangana observed an unusual phenomenon for the area - a water tornado. 

On October 17, a powerful downpour with strong winds hit central Brazil in South America. There was flooding in the city of Uberlandia - the flooding was so strong that it simply swept away cars.

On October 16 and 17, 2021 in the central provinces of Vietnam, heavy rains caused rivers to overflow, landslides and turned streets into rivers. Unfortunately, because of the floods and landslides, there are missing persons.  

From October 17 to 20, heavy rains in eastern and western Nepal also caused widespread flooding and landslides. Unfortunately, there are dead and missing people there as well.

Today our world faces the greatest challenge to civilization:
Destructive forces of nature. Abnormal cataclysms. Sudden climatic disasters. Their number is rapidly increasing, and their power is irreversibly progressing. People are dying, cities are being destroyed.

Nothing is more important today than information about how for our humanity to survive and save our planet.
The time to tell the Truth is now, while we still have a chance to make a difference.
