Global Crisis. The Responsibility | International Online Forum. December 2, 2023

Today, very serious changes are taking place with the climate, and we are not ready for that. We are not ready to admit as parents that our child has no future. We can influence simple things: a child's education, how he is dressed, what he eats, and we do this. However, at least so far, we can also influence whether he will have a future or not. And that's when all our responsibility as parents disappears. We cease to be fathers and mothers, and we become just indifferent people because we reject and do not want to admit that climatic changes already pose a real threat.

A good parent is the one who really cares about the future of their child. Not in the sense of who the child will grow up to be, but in the sense that he will have such an opportunity. If we were truly caring parents, we would not be afraid and would take on this responsibility. And we would do everything to save the life of our child.

How could it happen that we, society as a whole, have come to the point when every person individually seems to be very caring, good and positive, while in general, as a society, we are indifferent to others and turn away from this reality?

Our dear viewers, we kindly present to your attention the 14th episode of the video series Islam: Religion of Love, which is dedicated to the theme of unity between Christianity and Islam. As a matter of fact, the Teachings brought by the Prophet Isa (peace be upon him) and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are the same in their essence: Faith in One Creator, Love, and Brotherhood! What the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was teaching and preaching is inseparably connected with what was preached by the Prophet Isa (peace be upon him), for one teaching is a continuation of the other.  

From this episode, you will also learn about a unique document written to the dictation of the Prophet Mohammed himself (peace be upon him) in 628 AD, which has survived to our days under the title “Promise to Saint Catherine's Monastery”. It is actually a universal promise made by the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) as the leader of the entire Muslim Ummah, and it is valid until the Day of Judgement. In this promise, the Prophet (peace be upon him) prohibits any kind of enmity between Muslims and Christians: 

“This is a message from Muhammad, the son of Abdullah… as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them. Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them because Christians are my citizens; and by Allah! I hold out against anything that displeases them…
…No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims’ houses…
…No one of the nation (Muslims) is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day (end of the world).” 

The key phrases in this epistle are the first and the last. They make this promise eternal and universal. Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) emphasizes that Muslims are always near Christians, near and far, which means that this promise relates not only to Saint Catherine’s Monastery but to all Christians.  

Today, when humanity is literally standing on the edge of the abyss called self-destruction when misunderstanding and hostility between Muslims and Christians are growing, it is important for us to remember that we have common Prophets (peace be upon them) and They (peace be upon them) taught one thing — Worshiping One God and brotherhood among all believers! And if we have everything in common — both the Creator and His Prophets, what is the point in our enmity, and who actually benefits from it? The answer to this question is simple: the only ones who benefit from the Muslim-Christian enmity are iblis and his slaves. 

Therefore, it is vital for us to realize all this and act based on these understandings. And taking into account that the One has come Who is expected in Christianity under the epithet of Comforter and in Islam under the epithet of Imam Mahdi, and He is calling all humanity to Unity with Faith in One Creator for everyone, we must simply forget all disputes and everything negative and take the leadership of the One Who carries out the Will of the Almighty and is giving all people the Knowledge of AllatRa! By accepting AllatRa and revealing it in our hearts, we will thus unite on the basis of what is common for all people! In its turn, this will ensure that humankind will finally become One Family, just as it was conceived by the One God for all people!
