On September 19, the Cumbre Vieja volcano in the Canaries woke up. Until then it had been dormant for 50 years! Smoke billowed up into the sky and could be seen from all over the island.
Streams of red-hot lava were literally attacking homes, infrastructure and crops. About 5,000 people were evacuated from nearby municipalities.

Watch in this episode:

An anomalous earthquake struck southeastern Australia on Sept. 22.
Its magnitude was 5.9. The epicenter was located about 200 km from the country's largest city of Melbourne. The hypocenter was located at a depth of 10 km. The first shock was followed by an aftershock with a magnitude of 4. The earthquake partially destroyed residential buildings.

The longest volcanic eruption in the last 50 years. Volcano Fagradalsfjadl woke up on March 19, 2021, and is still erupting. About 143 million cubic meters of lava poured out of the crater in six months. This is the longest eruption recorded in Iceland in the XXI century.

On September 22 there was a storm in the south of Spain with heavy rains and hail. The provinces of Cordoba, Granada, and Almeria were flooded as a result. Many homes and industrial sectors were flooded. Roads and farmland were also damaged.

In the second half of September, the residents of Italy also faced a number of natural disasters. On September 19th 7 tornadoes struck the north of the country.
Several tornadoes passed through the regions of Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna, which lasted for tens of minutes. During this time the whirlwinds managed to fall trees, damage houses, buildings, and cars.

According to the information system of remote sensing monitoring of the Federal Forestry Agency of Russia, as of September 23, more than 18 million hectares have been burnt out due to forest fires since the beginning of 2021. At the same time only on the territory of Yakutia more than 10.5 million hectares have burned.

The co-chairman of the headquarters of the Republic of Sakha to fight forest fires, an eyewitness of large-scale fires in Yakutia shared his observations and experience of interaction with people during the firefighting.

More than a million people were affected by the heavy rains in the Indian state of West Bengal. Unfortunately, casualties have been reported. On September 19 and 20, heavy rains caused rivers to overflow and embankments to collapse. People were evacuated. There was considerable damage to agriculture.

Climatic disasters and the destruction of the planet due to human activity, in one way or another, affect all the citizens of the Earth. And people are not prepared for the catastrophic consequences of cyclical climate change, because there is no understanding of which processes can be influenced by humans, and which cannot.

Now uniting is very important for us, for all humankind. Only together will we be able to withstand the times of global climate change.
The Creative Society is the only possible option for humanity to survive and evolve. But time flows inexorably fast, and everything depends on us!
